Cinnamon Indian Restaurant in Morris Plains

This restaurant is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Morris county, if not the entirety of New Jersey. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is to die for. I highly recommend the panner or chicken makhni. This is a definite hidden gem.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet. Everything was delicious. Good selection. Service was good. Would have liked a few more vegetarian options but overall great buffet for the price.

Good restaurant that caters north Indian cuisine, with good ambience, above average taste and reasonable pricing. But the menu items on buffet will be same or similar, so you may not feel like going back after 2 or 3 visits.

Fantastic food for a great price! We have been regulars for a year now and are thankful to have this restaurant close to home. You can choose the spice level and they have many vegetarian options as well as meat dishes. The pickled mushroom started is our favorite! We are thankful they have remained open during COVID 19 and taken the appropriate steps to remain safe!

Went for lunch buffet, it was very good. Variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to choose from. Food was well cooked and tasty. Not pricey. Will go again

“So much variety in buffet with great taste” I have heard about it so wanted to try thisWent there with 2 of my friends and wow, it was fully packed.Americans have outnumbered us there. From the starters to main course and Dessert.Everything was so good; nothing like it is ok type.I can’t name everything as there were many dishes but what I like methi chicken, kabab, Rasmalai, KAdhi pakoda, pani puri was also there.The ambience was equally good.Overall great lunch buffet in $13

Tasty buffet at moderate price

Amazing food, service and price. We enjoyed dinner at this place several times, but our favorite is the lunch buffet. It is not just to our liking because it is all you can eat and the price, but the quality of the food and variety is incredible. It tends to get packed once in a while, so get there earlier, especially if you have a bigger group, but regardless, you will enjoy the food selection and the atmosphere. I am personally a meat eater, but if you have a mixed party of people who eat and don't eat meat, there is plenty for everyone and the taste is amazing.

Cinnamon has great food. I recommend ordering off the menu versus the buffet, as the quality is much better and you have the option to order things spicy. However the buffet has good variety and is available all day Sunday.

Buffet variety beats most other similar Indian joints in the area. Service is pretty good but if the food itself isn't good the rest doesn't really matter. As an Indian I find some of the dishes heavy handed in cardamom and clove.

I am giving one star only for the place because when it comes to food ,dinner buffet is my horrible experience. You can cook better after watching YouTube if you are beginner ....seriously !!

I've been going here for Indian food for most of my childhood. The staff is incredibly kind and warmhearted. The food is easily my favorite. Vegetarian dishes are not only present but just as exemplary as the meat dishes. Favorite place for dinner out :)

Lunch buffet for the price is good. There's a nice spread of various items that are vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I ate a decent amount and didn't have any bad stomach issues afterwards which is a good sign for an Indian restaurant.I've been here for regular dinner service and it's good as well. The only thing I've ordered that I didn't like was the lamb chops. The pieces were small and not seasoned well.

This spot gives fantastic service and yummy menu. One of my favourite spots in the area. The drinks and food arrived quickly and the rates were inexpensive. Highly recommended.

WOW. I started with the Pickled Mushrooms. My Entrée was Lamb Vindaloo, served over a bed of Basmati Rice, with a side order of Garlic Naan. 😋 The Staff is Warm, Attentive and makes you feel like a Valued Guest. ❤️ I’m so sad right now. I’m sad because the portion was so generous, there isn’t room for anymore. 😂 If you haven’t eaten here be kind to yourself, have your first Cinnamon experience, it won’t be your last. 🤓

I wish i could give this place no stars! Food is below average and the ambiance is worst. I went here today with my colleagues for buffet and my experience was terrible!! The manager and ther servers were very arrogant. For the 1st serving I completed what I took in the plate and for 2nd serving I couldn't finish as it was too dry and meat was hard and went to desert to close my meal. Then the server directly came to us and told us we are wasting food and blah blah.. we never had the intention to waste food. The manager also accompanied server and started arguing.

This spot clearly knows how to take care of their customers. Constantly with a super nice demeanor. The food is affordably priced, regularly yummy and clean.

Very tasty food. I hosted my new born's welcome in this restaurant's party hall and the experience was amazing. The food was served fresh and hot, the catering service was very satisfactory. Authentic Indian food.

Excellent buffet selection, wasn't too crazy about the Saag Paneer but that's just a matter of personal preference. Everything else was quite good.

Sunday dinner buffet is a awesome and not pricey. Staff is always making sure everything is good. I find the owner personally tends to cater more to his Caucasian customers verses the brown people.

Good variety .. love their starters.. chicken was a lil dry and tasted ok.. biriyani was awesome. Buffet is really good and surely is a value for money . Dessert was average. Carrot halwa and there weren't sweet and was ok.. overall a great experience .. make sure you have a place to sleep after having a heavy lunch :)

If you planning to book party there be careful they charge for extra people and the helpers they provide also ask you to pay tip separately even u pay their gratuity at counter.We celebrated our daughter’s bday there last weekend and let them know that guest will be around 45 adults plus kids, some may not attend party as it’s flu season... when restaurant staff come for billing and asked us to pay for 47 adult plus 9kids , we were shocked becoz as per our counting we had only 40 adult included us n 6 kids(5+ age) . My husband went to counter n told them about that ,the manager argued that our people counted that number so u hv to pay the amount. My husband didn’t want to spoil the party mood as our party was still going on so he paid the amount. But we never had this type of experience before and I never wrote any review about any restaurant before but this time I m writing bcoz of bad experience .Beside that party hall n food were ok.

I love Indian food and this restaurant is always my first choice. In fact, the food is so great that I think it's a big part of the reason that I am such a big fan of Indian food. If you're eating in the area this is always an awesome choice.

The tandoori and aloo zeera were really good, but the ready of the dishes we had (aloo papri chat and paneer makhini) were very sweet.

Lunch buffet always has a nice amount of choices. If you havent tried this food type yet, but always want to, buffet is the way to go. Dinners have always been great. Servers friendly and responsive.

I visit this place a lot since I work in the area. I must say their customer service is always fantastic and they keep the place well organized at all times. Prices are convenient and they serve generous portions.

The food here is very light and easy to eat. The taste is powerful but not overwhelming and some of the food is spicy. The Mango Lassi here is very good and I highly recommend it. Service is great; you want something, they'll be happy to bring it.
